ZERO POINT MILES is located at the intersection of Post Office. This location is very strategic because it is the center of tourism in Yogyakarta. On the southwest side of the intersection there BNI 46, Post Office and Bank Indonesia on the southeast side, Serangan Umum 1 Maret monument on the northeast side, and the Gedung Agung on the northwest side. Gedung Agung was once used as an office of the president when Yogyakarta became the capital of the Republic of Indonesia.

Approximately 100 meters to the south there is a straight square north and the Sultan Palace, is 100 meters to the north there Beringharjo and Malioboro. As a strategic crossroads, ZERO POINT MILES area is also often used as the location of a peaceful protest, demonstration, and carnival culture.
